About the Devboard PCB
Devboard is an open source Raspberry Pi PCB design by Yarnemeuris, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 39.4 × 52.1 mm, with 18 components from 11 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the CM2040, from the Raspberry Pi family. Other key parts include the AMS1117-3.3 and LM358. By type, the board carries 6 resistors, 3 ICs, 3 connectors, 2 switches, 2 diodes and 2 capacitors.
It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.
From the project
A small board to easily connect an rp2040 to any project.
The CM2040 is a small board with an rp2040 on it. It can be used to add an MCU to any project, without being difficult to add. Compared to regular devboards, the CM2040 still gives you access to every signal. So you can add you own usb port and use all the GPIO pins. The storage is also on board. This means that you can use a dedicated programmer and then move the CM2040 to it's use location.

Devboard: common questions
What microcontroller does the Devboard use?
The Devboard is built around the CM2040, from the Raspberry Pi family.
How big is the Devboard PCB?
The Devboard measures 39.4 × 52.1 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Devboard?
18 components, from 11 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Devboard design files?
From the Yarnemeuris/CM2040 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Devboard design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Yarnemeuris. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Devboard without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Raspberry Pi firmware against it before you order a PCB.
