About the Lunakey Pico PCB
Lunakey Pico is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by yoichiro, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-NC-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 140.5 × 100.6 mm, with 110 components from 8 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Raspberry_Pie_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. By type, the board carries 56 diodes, 46 switches, 2 ICs, 2 connectors, 2 speakers and 2 resistors.
It belongs with the keyboards and displays & leds designs in this gallery.
From the project
Lunakey - This is a brand for keyboards designed by Yoichiro Tanaka.
This project has some keyboards designed by Yoichiro Tanaka.
Lunakey Mini is a 40% keyboard which has 44 keys and is splitted to left and right. Each side has 3 rows x 6 columns and 4 keys that are pressed by a thumb. Also, it has an ability to light up by Underglow LEDs on the bottom, an ability to display information by OLED modules and an ability to play a sound by a speaker module. Of course, the column-staggered key layout is the result of deep thinking to fit each finger and each key naturally. Lunakey Mini can assist your PC life everyday.

Lunakey Pico: common questions
What microcontroller does the Lunakey Pico use?
The Lunakey Pico is built around the Raspberry_Pie_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Lunakey Pico PCB?
The Lunakey Pico measures 140.5 × 100.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Lunakey Pico?
110 components, from 8 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Lunakey Pico design files?
From the yoichiro/lunakey repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Lunakey Pico design in my own project?
It is published under CC-BY-NC-4.0, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
Can I test firmware for the Lunakey Pico without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
