About the Melodik2 PCB
Melodik2 is an open source PCB design by z00m128, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-NC-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 78.1 × 85.1 mm, with 41 components from 25 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the AY-3-8912, 74LS138, 74LS02, 74LS00 and 74LS74. By type, the board carries 13 capacitors, 12 resistors, 6 ICs, 6 connectors, 2 inductors and 1 crystal.
From the project
A set of printed circuit boards created by me.
Melodik was AY interface for ZX Spectrum and compatibles, produced by Didaktik v.d. in 90's. This is my third attempt at making a replacement, as the original PCB was of terrible quality, was breaking down, and the main oscillator tended to start at all sorts of frequencies, just not the right one. The PCB is not verified yet, but it should work.
