This directory contains KiCad projects for PCBs that Ledian uses. Projects were created with KiCad 7 with no dependencies from external libraries.

Prototype of Ledian 2.0, small panel with just 40 LEDs used to create a proof of concept.

Support board for the microcontroller ESP32-C6. The boards mounts the developing board for ESP32-C6 made by Waveshare. The board has also - 3 ADCs to read all the analog signals from temperature/current sensors of PCBs and power supplies - a digital temperature/humidity/pressure sensor - power good input signals from power supplies - voltage level shifter…

Ledian support board: common questions

What microcontroller does the Ledian support board use?

The Ledian support board is built around the ESP32-C6_WaveShare, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Ledian support board?

The Ledian support board measures 88.7 × 55.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Ledian support board?

88 components, from 24 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Ledian support board design files?

From the aleclearmind/ledian repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Ledian support board design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with aleclearmind. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Ledian support board without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
