From the project
Work in progress!
This is 'industriual' adaptation for raspberry pi pico 2W. This is a hobby project developed by me (AntekElektronik) with no plans for building it (yet).
This device features a 8 optotransistor 24V inputs, 4 10A 230V relay outputs and 4 transistor outputs latching to ground. The device is powered by 24V external power supply and has 24V -> 5V switching power regulator onboard (the rpi pico 2w takes care of regulating 3.3V).

PicoPLC: common questions
What microcontroller does the PicoPLC use?
The PicoPLC is built around the RaspberryPi_Pico_W, from the Raspberry Pi family.
How big is the PicoPLC PCB?
The PicoPLC measures 96 × 98 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the PicoPLC?
91 components, from 32 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the PicoPLC design files?
From the antek-elektronik/PicoPLC repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the PicoPLC design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with antek-elektronik. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the PicoPLC without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Raspberry Pi firmware against it before you order a PCB.
