About the WideWiig PCB
WideWiig is an open source PCB design by Architeuthis-Flux, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 78.7 × 63.5 mm, with 502 components from 10 distinct parts.
By type, the board carries 480 diodes, 14 capacitors, 7 connectors and 1 test point.
It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts and displays & leds designs in this gallery.
From the project
a breadboard you can stick things to
Rev 2 is gonna be quite a bit different from the original (from here on, I will refer to this as just Barnacle Board), LEDs are a separate board, and there are holes that go all the way through the breadboard (a cool side effect of having spring clips with holes for 5 LEDs), and the connector pinout is changed so you can plug stuff in the wrong way and it just swaps the top and bottom halves of the breadboard.

WideWiig: common questions
How big is the WideWiig PCB?
The WideWiig measures 78.7 × 63.5 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.4 mm thick.
How many components are on the WideWiig?
502 components, from 10 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the WideWiig design files?
From the Architeuthis-Flux/Barnacle_Board repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the WideWiig design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which Architeuthis-Flux chose for the repository.
