About the Afx-1000 PCB

Afx-1000 is an open source PCB design by AxelMcKenna, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 100 × 100 mm, with 106 components from 60 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the TPS3435AFACADDFRQ1, 74LVC2G08DP, 74LVC1G08GV, 74LVC74APW and TPS3808G33DBVR. By type, the board carries 33 resistors, 27 capacitors, 10 ICs, 5 diodes, 1 transistor and 1 fuse.

It belongs with the audio and sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

RMX-1000-inspired effects processor for macOS, AU and VST3. C++20 engine, rekordbox audio capture, custom drums and a standalone Daisy Seed hardware prototype.

This is the active lower-cost standalone hardware variant. It keeps the Seed, engine, 29 effect buttons, ten rotary controls, release sensor, touch strip, SD sample/User loading and current LED/display scan. The earlier A0.2 high-voltage carrier remains available under hardware/electrical; its BOM is not the B1 shopping list. Neither variant is a completed or reference-matched RMX-1000.
