About the Split keyboard PCB
Split keyboard is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by AYUSH-pro-grammer, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 230.5 × 167.5 mm, with 94 components from 5 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the DM-OLED096-636. By type, the board carries 46 switches, 44 diodes, 2 ICs and 2 modules.
It belongs with the keyboards and displays & leds designs in this gallery.
From the project
This is a split keyboard. It is divided into 2 parts. I designed it to gain some experience in pcb design, cad modeling and firmware development. It has 22 keys per side, oled display, and rotary encoder.

I want to design my own keyboard to gain experience in hardware project. I got a lot of useful information about creating schematics, pcb routing, footprints, cad case modeling and file structure on github.

Split keyboard: common questions
What microcontroller does the Split keyboard use?
The Split keyboard is built around the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Split keyboard PCB?
The Split keyboard measures 230.5 × 167.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Split keyboard?
94 components, from 5 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Split keyboard design files?
From the AYUSH-pro-grammer/split-keyboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Split keyboard design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with AYUSH-pro-grammer. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Split keyboard without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
