LAM-4I4O-REVC: common questions
What microcontroller does the LAM-4I4O-REVC use?
The LAM-4I4O-REVC is built around the CH32V003AxMx, from the RISC-V family.
How big is the LAM-4I4O-REVC PCB?
The LAM-4I4O-REVC measures 65 × 80 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.58 mm thick.
How many components are on the LAM-4I4O-REVC?
52 components, from 22 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the LAM-4I4O-REVC design files?
From the b4ck5p4c3/lambium repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the LAM-4I4O-REVC design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license, which b4ck5p4c3 chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the LAM-4I4O-REVC without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RISC-V firmware against it before you order a PCB.
