About the Keeb colon three PCB
Keeb colon three is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by BananerCatter, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 369.3 × 148.8 mm, with 166 components from 6 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the ER_OLEDM0.91_1X-I2C. By type, the board carries 109 diodes, 54 capacitors, 1 IC, 1 module and 1 switch.
It belongs with the keyboards and displays & leds designs in this gallery.
From the project
My (first) custom keyboard! Probably not perfect, but it's mine!
I want to build something meaningful myself.
This project has given me the opportunity to refine my pcb design, and to learn CAD modelling, manufacturing, firmware configuration, and soon enough, soldering (especially tiny smd components, such as the LEDs and caps)
Firmware was make in rmk, only has layouts and rotary encoder support for now.

Keeb colon three: common questions
What microcontroller does the Keeb colon three use?
The Keeb colon three is built around the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Keeb colon three PCB?
The Keeb colon three measures 369.3 × 148.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Keeb colon three?
166 components, from 6 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Keeb colon three design files?
From the BananerCatter/keeb-colon-three repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Keeb colon three design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with BananerCatter. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Keeb colon three without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
