Adaptation of https://github.com/MKesenheimer/fault-injection-library

Findus (aka the fault-injection-library) is a toolchain to perform fault-injection attacks on microcontrollers and other targets. This library offers an easy entry point to carry out fault-injection attacks against microcontrollers, SoCs and CPUs. With the provided and easy to use functions and classes, fault-injection projects can be realized quickly with cheap and available hardware.

Stm8s target v1.1: common questions

What microcontroller does the Stm8s target v1.1 use?

The Stm8s target v1.1 is built around the STM8S003F3U6TR, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Stm8s target v1.1 PCB?

The Stm8s target v1.1 measures 57 × 25.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Stm8s target v1.1?

40 components, from 29 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Stm8s target v1.1 design files?

From the christiangroothuis/fault-injection-library repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Stm8s target v1.1 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which christiangroothuis chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Stm8s target v1.1 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
