An isolated UART to USB board, capable of being used as an EQDIRECT board
This is a KiCad PCB for an isolated UART to USB board. It can be used as isolated EQDIRECT board to connect to your HEQ5 or EQ6 astronomical mount. It can also be used as a generic, isolated UART converter board, with optional DTR and RTS lines.
If you want to make your own, or order one from JLC PCB, you can find details and the needed files below. I also have some extra boards (both assembled and bare PCB), that I sell, at pretty much the manufacturing price. You will only need to add a USB cable, and the cable from your mount to the board (again, details below).
