About the Usbscsi PCB

Usbscsi is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by cm68, published on GitHub. It is a board, with 25 components from 21 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the Am53C94 SCSI controller, EZ-USB FX2 (CY7C68013A), 74LVC245A, 74LVC244A and 24LC64. By type, the board carries 7 ICs, 5 capacitors, 4 resistors, 2 transistors, 2 connectors and 1 crystal.

It belongs with the iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

Usbscsi: common questions

What microcontroller does the Usbscsi use?

The Usbscsi is built around the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How many components are on the Usbscsi?

25 components, from 21 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Usbscsi design files?

From the cm68/usbscsi repository on GitHub, which has the schematic, a netlist and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Usbscsi design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with cm68. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Usbscsi without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
