i made this project as a speedrun before the end of fallout for funsies. it is (hopefully) tetris on a keychain! how it will work is that you will be able to play tetris on the oled screen by moving the pcb around, and the imu will detect the movements. so for example, moving right will move the pieces right, and moving it down will drop it. whats great about this control method is that theres 6 axis of motion so theres plenty to work with.

Keychain tris: common questions

What microcontroller does the Keychain tris use?

The Keychain tris is built around the ESP32-C3, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Keychain tris PCB?

The Keychain tris measures 40.7 × 33.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Keychain tris?

39 components, from 22 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Keychain tris design files?

From the darshg321/Keychain-tris repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Keychain tris design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with darshg321. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Keychain tris without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
