- Low power at 10mA BLE transmission at +8dBm - Charging input/output up to 60W - 5 LED battery indicator

There were 2 consecutive bicycle robbery that happened near where I live which got me curious, where do they place them at? With this, no SIM card nor GPS needed (which saves energy and mobile credits)!

FindMyCharger: common questions

What microcontroller does the FindMyCharger use?

The FindMyCharger is built around the NRF54L10-QFAA-R7, from the Nordic nRF family.

How big is the FindMyCharger PCB?

The FindMyCharger measures 74 × 56 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the FindMyCharger?

189 components, from 71 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the FindMyCharger design files?

From the dave9123/FindMyCharger repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the FindMyCharger design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with dave9123. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the FindMyCharger without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Nordic nRF firmware against it before you order a PCB.
