Uhh this hasn't been updated, but so far I did get the printer working, then killed mainboard I have all components working, except screen and eddy current sensor, am just finalizing pcb's then trying to rebuild.

A1-Main-Board: common questions

What microcontroller does the A1-Main-Board use?

The A1-Main-Board is built around the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the A1-Main-Board?

The A1-Main-Board measures 152 × 60 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the A1-Main-Board?

44 components, from 26 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the A1-Main-Board design files?

From the DevCyclonekitten/Bambu-A1-Klipper repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the A1-Main-Board design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which DevCyclonekitten chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the A1-Main-Board without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
