Raspberry Pi's RP2350B minimal design (RPI-RP2350B-MINIMAL R4-S1, KiCad 10) with these additions:

- the RM2 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module (CYW43439) on GPIO 43-46 - the 8 MB APS6404L PSRAM fitted on the second QSPI chip select, moved from GPIO0 to GPIO47 - single-row headers: J2/J3 are 1x29 / 1x28 rows with the GPIOs in order and 3V3 and GND pins at both ends, in place of Pi's 2x26 headers with an all-GND outer row. That makes the board easy to use on perfboard, with 3.3 V on hand for level shifters and the like - a 5 V input (VSYS) on J3 pin 2, so the board can run without USB. As on a Pico, USB…

Rp2350b rm2-reference: common questions

What microcontroller does the Rp2350b rm2-reference use?

The Rp2350b rm2-reference is built around the RP2350B, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the Rp2350b rm2-reference PCB?

The Rp2350b rm2-reference measures 52 × 89.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Rp2350b rm2-reference?

53 components, from 30 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Rp2350b rm2-reference design files?

From the eelstretching/rp2350b-rm2-reference repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Rp2350b rm2-reference design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with eelstretching. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Rp2350b rm2-reference without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
