Our amazing (and cheap) Rover Kit for everybody
The Electronic Cats along with The Inventor's House have developed a new development kit for a Mars Rover in which almost everyone can participate
"The CatFinder" is an exploration vehicle that collects data from the environment in which it travels.
The CatFinder Rover is cappable of transmit:
- Humidity - Atmosphere pressure - Temperature - CO2 levels in ppm - TVOC levels in ppb - Position with acelerometer and gyroscope - Video broadcasting.

Cat finder main: common questions
What microcontroller does the Cat finder main use?
The Cat finder main is built around the ESP32-CAM, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Cat finder main PCB?
The Cat finder main measures 85 × 70 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Cat finder main?
23 components, from 22 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Cat finder main design files?
From the ElectronicCats/CatFinder repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Cat finder main design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which ElectronicCats chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Cat finder main without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
