About the Paxtogeddon-OLED PCB
Paxtogeddon-OLED is an open source ESP32 PCB design by en4rab, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 42 × 60.2 mm, with 25 components from 11 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ESP32-C3_SUPERMINI_SMD, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the MC7805CDTG and OLED096-128x64. By type, the board carries 8 resistors, 6 transistors, 3 ICs, 3 jumpers, 2 connectors and 2 capacitors.
It belongs with the displays & leds designs in this gallery.
From the project
Hardware files for the Paxtogeddon reader with OLED display
The kicad directory contains the kicad project files to make a PCB for the Paxtogeddon reader. This was a project to learn Kicad and PCB design so set your expectations accordingly! If you just want to make one Paxtogeddon reader to use then you might find using 00Waz's protoboard design quicker and easier than ordering pcb's and smt parts from China.
The gerbers directory contains the gerbers for the v1.2 board and a zip file paxtogeddon-gerbersv12.zip which is the zip file uploaded to JLC for manufacture of the PCB's.

Paxtogeddon-OLED: common questions
What microcontroller does the Paxtogeddon-OLED use?
The Paxtogeddon-OLED is built around the ESP32-C3_SUPERMINI_SMD, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Paxtogeddon-OLED PCB?
The Paxtogeddon-OLED measures 42 × 60.2 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Paxtogeddon-OLED?
25 components, from 11 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Paxtogeddon-OLED design files?
From the en4rab/Paxtogeddon-OLED-PCB repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Paxtogeddon-OLED design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which en4rab chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Paxtogeddon-OLED without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
