It belongs with the power & battery and test & measurement designs in this gallery.
From the project
3-channel bench PSU monitor using ESP32 and INA3221 — voltage & current sensing over I²C with KiCad PCB files and Arduino firmware.
A 3-channel bench power supply monitor PCB built around an ESP32 DevKit V1 and a Texas Instruments INA3221 triple-channel current/voltage sense IC.
- 3 independent measurement channels (CH1, CH2, CH3) via screw terminals - Voltage and current monitoring over I²C using the INA3221 - 10 mΩ shunt resistors for current sensing - I²C address selection via solder jumpers JP1/JP2 - Compact 2-layer PCB with gerbers ready for fabrication

Bench psu monitor: common questions
What microcontroller does the Bench psu monitor use?
The Bench psu monitor is built around the ESP32 DevKit V1, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Bench psu monitor PCB?
The Bench psu monitor measures 110 × 80 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Bench psu monitor?
35 components, from 17 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Bench psu monitor design files?
From the fixthepixel/bench-psu-monitor repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Bench psu monitor design in my own project?
It is published under Custom license, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
Can I test firmware for the Bench psu monitor without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
