STM32G431CBT6 firmware for the SprigRig Sensor Hub.

- Modbus RTU slave (9600 baud, 8N1) - 2x 4-20mA analog inputs - 2x 0-10V analog inputs - 2x 0-10V analog outputs (for fan speed, LED dimming) - 4x Digital inputs (for float switches, etc.) - 2x I2C ports for environmental sensors - 1x SPI port (expansion) - DIP switch address selection (1-16)

The 4-position DIP switch sets the Modbus slave address (1-16). Each hub on the RS485 bus must have a unique address.

GaiForgeWeb- design files

The KiCad project lives in the GaiaForge/GaiForgeWeb- repository on GitHub; these links point at the commit this page was built from.

GaiForgeWeb-: common questions

What microcontroller does the GaiForgeWeb- use?

The GaiForgeWeb- is built around the STM32G431CBTx, from the STM32 family.

How big is the GaiForgeWeb- PCB?

The GaiForgeWeb- measures 104.9 × 78 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the GaiForgeWeb-?

81 components, from 42 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the GaiForgeWeb- design files?

From the GaiaForge/GaiForgeWeb- repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the GaiForgeWeb- design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with GaiaForge. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the GaiForgeWeb- without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
