About the Raspberry Pi Full Stack HAT

Raspberry Pi Full Stack HAT is an open source Raspberry Pi PCB design by Ikarthikmb, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 24 × 27.9 mm, with 9 components from 7 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the Raspberry_Pi_2_3, from the Raspberry Pi family. Other key parts include the DHT22. By type, the board carries 4 resistors, 2 diodes, 1 IC, 1 connector and 1 switch.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts and power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

Schematics and PCB designs implemented in Kicad.

- Converts the input ac/dc voltage(which does not exceed 35V) to output of 5 volts. This can be used to power circuits that require 5V as input supply for example Arduino(Requires 5V input power supply). - Connections: Connect a input power supply to the jack and the output is obtained fron pin heads. - To view/modify the source file, download the repository and navigate to 1-Breadboard Power Supply folder and open the bread power supply schematic.pro project file in KiCAD.

Raspberry Pi Full Stack HAT: common questions

What microcontroller does the Raspberry Pi Full Stack HAT use?

The Raspberry Pi Full Stack HAT is built around the Raspberry_Pi_2_3, from the Raspberry Pi family.

How big is the Raspberry Pi Full Stack HAT?

The Raspberry Pi Full Stack HAT measures 24 × 27.9 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Raspberry Pi Full Stack HAT?

9 components, from 7 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Raspberry Pi Full Stack HAT design files?

From the Ikarthikmb/Circuit-Designs repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Raspberry Pi Full Stack HAT design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Ikarthikmb. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Raspberry Pi Full Stack HAT without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Raspberry Pi firmware against it before you order a PCB.
