About the PicoQuorum key, rev A: SOIC-8, hand soldered PCB

PicoQuorum key, rev A: SOIC-8, hand soldered is an open source PCB design by jmcpheron, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 22.4 × 32 mm, with 4 components from 4 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the ATECC608C-SSHDA-B and USBLC6-2SC6. By type, the board carries 2 ICs, 1 capacitor and 1 resistor.

On rev A the PCB is the plug. The key is a small board with gold fingers on one edge, like a YubiKey. Those fingers slide into a card-edge socket on the console, so there are no audio plugs, no wires, and nothing to solder to plug lugs. The secure element sits on the same board.

The renders come from tools/keypcb render. They show the pads, fingers and silkscreen but no part bodies, because KiCad's 3D models aren't installed where they were made.
