Intro This project details my build of a potentiometric chloride sensor. It started out as a project for the Chemistry Olympics competition, but evolved into a project I am using to learn about electronics and green chemistry. I have been working hard to improve the device's accuracy, trying things like improving the salt bridge design and electrode fabrication technique. I am planning to try it out in local rivers and ponds and hope to get good readings. I am also planning to improve the electronic design and build a PCB to make my project more accurate and durable. The sensor is built using…

Chloride-Sensor: common questions

How many components are on the Chloride-Sensor?

8 components, from 4 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Chloride-Sensor design files?

From the johnpk67/Chloride-Sensor repository on GitHub, which has the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Chloride-Sensor design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with johnpk67. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
