About the PCB 1

PCB 1 is an open source PCB design by kubbd, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 59 × 59 mm, with 4 components from 4 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the ZED-X20P. By type, the board carries 2 capacitors, 1 IC and 1 connector.

It belongs with the rf & radio, sensors and usb & debug tools designs in this gallery.

From the project

A soda-can-sized satellite designed to achieve autonomous, guided descent using a parafoil and real-time GNSS-based navigation. It collects atmospheric and flight data during descent and transmits telemetry live to enable precise tracking and targeted landing.

- Predictive landing guidance (steers to make predicted landing converge to target) - GNSS (ZED-X20P) with RTK passthrough (Teensy forwards RTCM bytes to GNSS) - LoRa (SX1262) bidirectional: - receive TARGET once - receive RTK continuously - send telemetry @ 1 Hz - BMP280: pressure + temperature (and sink-rate estimate) - BNO085: accelerometer + rotation vector (drop detection + heading) - Dual-servo differential steering - No buzzer
