About the PCB 4
PCB 4 is an open source PCB design by kubbd, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 59.6 × 59.6 mm, with 12 components from 9 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the D24V22F5 and D24V10F3. By type, the board carries 6 capacitors, 4 connectors and 2 ICs.
It belongs with the rf & radio, sensors and usb & debug tools designs in this gallery.
From the project
A soda-can-sized satellite designed to achieve autonomous, guided descent using a parafoil and real-time GNSS-based navigation. It collects atmospheric and flight data during descent and transmits telemetry live to enable precise tracking and targeted landing.
- Predictive landing guidance (steers to make predicted landing converge to target) - GNSS (ZED-X20P) with RTK passthrough (Teensy forwards RTCM bytes to GNSS) - LoRa (SX1262) bidirectional: - receive TARGET once - receive RTK continuously - send telemetry @ 1 Hz - BMP280: pressure + temperature (and sink-rate estimate) - BNO085: accelerometer + rotation vector (drop detection + heading) - Dual-servo differential steering - No buzzer
