This folder contains KiCAD files for the 3 channel Pre-Processor.

The original design used the TSSOP-16 package of the NXP LPC812 microcontroller. Folder LPC812-TSSOP16-version/

Since the TSSOP-20 version was easier available at distributors, we also designed a PCB for this mircocontroller: LPC812-TSSOP20-version/ We never built this PCB yet ourselves but it is likely to work since it is just a different package.

Preprocessor-3ch lpc832: common questions

What microcontroller does the Preprocessor-3ch lpc832 use?

The Preprocessor-3ch lpc832 is built around the LPC824M201JDH20, from the NXP family.

How big is the Preprocessor-3ch lpc832 PCB?

The Preprocessor-3ch lpc832 measures 17 × 17 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1 mm thick.

How many components are on the Preprocessor-3ch lpc832?

11 components, from 11 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Preprocessor-3ch lpc832 design files?

From the laneboysrc/rc-light-controller repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Preprocessor-3ch lpc832 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which laneboysrc chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Preprocessor-3ch lpc832 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug NXP firmware against it before you order a PCB.
