About the Esp2400 PCB

Esp2400 is an open source ESP32 PCB design by m24h, published on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 81.1 × 27.6 mm, with 110 components from 37 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ESP32-WROOM-NC, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the ST7789, REF5025, CH340C, CS1237 and BL1551. By type, the board carries 35 capacitors, 33 resistors, 22 connectors, 11 ICs, 5 diodes and 3 switches.

It belongs with the power & battery, iot & wireless and usb & debug tools designs in this gallery.

From the project

A digitalizing power supply control board woking with modified ZXD2400 (50V 50A) modoule

A digitalizing power supply control board woking with modified ZXD2400 (50V 50A) modoule.

This project is a control board mainly using ESP32 as core MPU, with ST7789V display, including software source codes, hardware design, and other parts design, to control a simply modified ZXD2400 power supply module.

In fact, this project is suitable for modifying other power supply module too.

Esp2400: common questions

What microcontroller does the Esp2400 use?

The Esp2400 is built around the ESP32-WROOM-NC, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Esp2400 PCB?

The Esp2400 measures 81.1 × 27.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Esp2400?

110 components, from 37 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Esp2400 design files?

From the m24h/esp2400 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Esp2400 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its Apache-2.0 license, which m24h chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Esp2400 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
