About the Compute PCB Template

Compute PCB Template is an open source PCB design by Manuvr, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 24.8 × 27.2 mm, with 6 components from 5 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 3 connectors and 1 capacitor.

KiCAD source files for Manuvr's motion capture glove.

Provides a breakout to the compute/comm PCB connector on the r2-Backplane. It is also useful as a template for a custom Compute PCB.

1) To be used as-is as a signal breakout for using Digitabulum and the r2-Backplane with a new microcontroller without rolling a PCB for it.

2) To be used as a template for a custom compute PCB to be attached to the r2-Backplane.

Compute PCB Template: common questions

How big is the Compute PCB Template?

The Compute PCB Template measures 24.8 × 27.2 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Compute PCB Template?

6 components, from 5 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Compute PCB Template design files?

From the Manuvr/Digitabulum-Hardware repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Compute PCB Template design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Manuvr. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
