About the ESP32-Temperature-WebServer PCB

ESP32-Temperature-WebServer is an open source ESP32 PCB design by marcosindiano7, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 80 × 80 mm, with 68 components from 32 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ESP32, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the LM7805_TO220, CH340N and LM35-LP. By type, the board carries 20 resistors, 15 capacitors, 6 jumpers, 6 LEDs, 5 diodes and 4 ICs.

It belongs with the sensors, iot & wireless and usb & debug tools designs in this gallery.

From the project

Custom ESP32-based temperature web server PCB designed in KiCad, manufactured and assembled with SMD/THT components, including LM35 sensing, USB/RS232 communication and lab validation.

Custom two-layer PCB designed in KiCad for an ESP32-based temperature monitoring system. The board measures temperature using an LM35 analog sensor and allows the measured value to be monitored through a web interface served by the ESP32 module.

This project focuses on the complete hardware development flow: schematic capture, PCB layout, manufacturing files generation, board assembly and laboratory validation.

ESP32-Temperature-WebServer: common questions

What microcontroller does the ESP32-Temperature-WebServer use?

The ESP32-Temperature-WebServer is built around the ESP32, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the ESP32-Temperature-WebServer PCB?

The ESP32-Temperature-WebServer measures 80 × 80 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the ESP32-Temperature-WebServer?

68 components, from 32 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the ESP32-Temperature-WebServer design files?

From the marcosindiano7/ESP32-Temperature-WebServer-PCB repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the ESP32-Temperature-WebServer design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with marcosindiano7. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the ESP32-Temperature-WebServer without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
