From the project
MMDVM_HS Hat for the Raspberry Pi (Zero)
This project provides a Raspberry Pi Hat for the MMDVM_HS Hotspot. It was designed for the Raspberry Pi Zero, but should work on any other Pi with the Hat interface.
First revisions of the board have been built successfully!
The PCB is designed in KiCad and the necessary libraries are included. The supplied Gerber files can be used to order PCBs, for example at Elecrow or DirtyPCBs. The board's dimensions are 65x30mm.

MMDVM HS Hat: common questions
What microcontroller does the MMDVM HS Hat use?
The MMDVM HS Hat is built around the STM32F103C8T6, from the STM32 family.
How big is the MMDVM HS Hat?
The MMDVM HS Hat measures 65.1 × 30.2 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the MMDVM HS Hat?
79 components, from 44 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the MMDVM HS Hat design files?
From the mathisschmieder/MMDVM_HS_Hat repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the MMDVM HS Hat design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with mathisschmieder. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the MMDVM HS Hat without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
