From the project

Sthymuli is an educational Robot aimed for children. This repo contains the Kicad Implementation of the motherboard.

The motherboard is designed arround a doughnut shape with addons that plug in the center. the shape was chosen to encourage equal access to up to four children at a time interracting with the device.

the circuit is splitted between one motherboard and three cardinalboard this repo has the motherboard

the cardinal board can be found there : https://github.com/nathmo/Sthymuli-cardinalboard

Sthymuli motherboard: common questions

What microcontroller does the Sthymuli motherboard use?

The Sthymuli motherboard is built around the C2913199, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Sthymuli motherboard PCB?

The Sthymuli motherboard measures 153.6 × 66.2 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Sthymuli motherboard?

189 components, from 76 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Sthymuli motherboard design files?

From the nathmo/Sthymuli-motherboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Sthymuli motherboard design in my own project?

It is published under Custom license, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.

Can I test firmware for the Sthymuli motherboard without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
