About the Usbjoystick d12 a4 r1 rev2.0 PCB

Usbjoystick d12 a4 r1 rev2.0 is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by nealpalmer, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 43 × 58 mm, with 63 components from 15 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the Sparkfun_Pro_Micro, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the PIC16F76-ISO and CD74HC243M96. By type, the board carries 28 resistors, 18 connectors, 4 capacitors, 3 ICs, 1 switch and 1 diode.

From the project

USB Joystick Controller 12Digital/SmartButton, 4Analog, 1Rotary, 1NeoPixel

This is a couple of circuit boards that make up a fancy USB joystick controller for FRC #2984. It has both a HID joystick interface and a HID uart interface (for configuration) presented to the computer (i.e. it works in Windows and Linux). No embedded programming experience is necessary to get it to work! It also looks like just a HID analog joystick to Windows.
