About the Quadrants PCB
Quadrants is an open source NXP PCB design by nebularnoise, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 107.5 × 19.5 mm, with 45 components from 26 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Teensy3.2, from the NXP family. Other key parts include the MCP6002, TL072 and REG1117. By type, the board carries 18 resistors, 7 capacitors, 6 connectors, 6 diodes, 4 ICs and 2 crystals.
It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.
From the project
Skiff-friendly SMD version of the Prok Eurorack Drum Modules.
Quadrants is a skiff-friendly SMD version of the Prok Drum Modules.
I love the Prok modules, but the 3-boards sandwich made them too deep to fit in my drum skiff. With this version, the depth is no longer about 40mm, but rather 30mm.

Quadrants: common questions
What microcontroller does the Quadrants use?
The Quadrants is built around the Teensy3.2, from the NXP family.
How big is the Quadrants PCB?
The Quadrants measures 107.5 × 19.5 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Quadrants?
45 components, from 26 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Quadrants design files?
From the nebularnoise/quadrants repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Quadrants design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with nebularnoise. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Quadrants without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug NXP firmware against it before you order a PCB.
