About the Rp2040Term PCB
Rp2040Term is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by PR77, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 99.6 × 99.6 mm, with 44 components from 22 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the LQ042T5DZ11, 4N25, TSR_1-2450 and TSR_1-2412. By type, the board carries 12 capacitors, 10 resistors, 6 ICs, 4 diodes, 3 connectors and 3 jumpers.
It belongs with the displays & leds designs in this gallery.

Rp2040Term: common questions
What microcontroller does the Rp2040Term use?
The Rp2040Term is built around the Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Rp2040Term PCB?
The Rp2040Term measures 99.6 × 99.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.61544 mm thick.
How many components are on the Rp2040Term?
44 components, from 22 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Rp2040Term design files?
From the PR77/rp2040Term repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Rp2040Term design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which PR77 chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Rp2040Term without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
