About the O32controller PCB

O32controller is an open source PCB design by qwertpas, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 27 × 27 mm, with 113 components from 31 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the STSPIN32F0ATR, THVD1420DRLR and MA732GQ-Z. By type, the board carries 58 capacitors, 37 resistors, 6 diodes, 5 connectors, 3 ICs and 3 transistors.

It belongs with the robotics & motion and sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

Miniature closed-loop controller for brushless DC motors

Small robots often use servos or small brushed DC motors, but they are not as power dense as the brushless DC (BLDC) motors commonly found in drones. Called the Ø32 because the M2 mounting holes are on a 32mm diameter circle, this project controls 7-15V motors with accurate position feedback and field-oriented control (FOC), while fitting almost completely behind a 2304 or larger drone motor.
