From the project
Prebuilt klayout + kplace binaries for Linux — batch place-and-route for KiCad boards
A batch place-and-route tool for KiCad boards, written in portable C99 with no dependencies beyond libm. It takes .kicadpcb` files — placed, or with footprints still staged outside the outline — places them if needed, routes the unconnected nets, and writes complete KiCad projects back out: board, project file, and schematic. Everything in the board file that the router doesn't understand is preserved verbatim, so it works across KiCad versions (developed and DRC-validated against KiCad 10).
