About the Fill Memory Board

Fill Memory Board is an open source STM32 PCB design by roberto314, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 100 × 100 mm, with 39 components from 13 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the STM32F411, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the 74LS125, 74LS165, 74LVC595, 74AHC1G14 and 74LVC138. By type, the board carries 18 connectors, 9 ICs, 6 capacitors, 5 resistors and 1 transistor.

It belongs with the retro computing designs in this gallery.

Fill Memory Board: common questions

What microcontroller does the Fill Memory Board use?

The Fill Memory Board is built around the STM32F411, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Fill Memory Board?

The Fill Memory Board measures 100 × 100 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Fill Memory Board?

39 components, from 13 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Fill Memory Board design files?

From the roberto314/Unicomp2 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Fill Memory Board design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with roberto314. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Fill Memory Board without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
