About the INSPACe-CanSat-Team-Tejas-PCB-Design

INSPACe-CanSat-Team-Tejas-PCB-Design is an open source NXP PCB design by Rujul-Rumale, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 101.9 × 101.9 mm, with 34 components from 19 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the Teensy4.1, from the NXP family. Other key parts include the XB24-ASI-001, BNO055, BME280, MICS_5524 and XT30UPB-M. By type, the board carries 13 ICs, 6 resistors, 5 capacitors, 4 diodes, 3 modules and 2 connectors.

It belongs with the sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

Onboard computer PCB for the INSPACe Team Tejas CanSat — Teensy 4.1 + XBee + sensor suite, designed in KiCad. Schematic, layout, Gerbers, 3D renders and libraries.

Carrier board for our INSPACe CanSat ("Tejas") — Teensy 4.1, XBee radio, and a full sensor suite (BNO055, BME688, DPS310, INA260, MICS5524) with dual buck regulators, servo/ESC headers, and buzzer on a ~102×102 mm 2-layer board.

Designed by me (Rujul Rumale) in KiCad, Oct 2025 — schematic, layout, and Gerber release. I also put together the data-processing section of our PFR deck.
