About the Analclock v2 PCB
Analclock v2 is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by sahko123, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 44 × 28 mm, with 37 components from 17 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RP2040, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the MCP4726 and W25Q32JVSS. By type, the board carries 15 capacitors, 9 resistors, 7 ICs, 4 switches, 1 crystal and 1 connector.
It belongs with the wearables designs in this gallery, and the repository also holds 1 earlier revision of it.
From the project
A watch that tells time using an analog voltmeter needle driven by a DAC. No screen. No hands. Just vibes and a carefully calibrated lookup table.

It's a watch. Technically. A Raspberry Pi Pico reads the time and drives an MCP4726 DAC, which pushes a voltage to a panel meter whose needle sweeps to represent whatever time-related concept you've most recently asked it about.

Analclock v2: common questions
What microcontroller does the Analclock v2 use?
The Analclock v2 is built around the RP2040, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Analclock v2 PCB?
The Analclock v2 measures 44 × 28 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Analclock v2?
37 components, from 17 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Analclock v2 design files?
From the sahko123/Analog-Watch repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Analclock v2 design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with sahko123. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Analclock v2 without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
