About the Li ion charger with protection PCB

Li ion charger with protection is an open source PCB design by SolderedElectronics, published on GitHub under the TAPR-OHL-1.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 38 × 22 mm, with 32 components from 20 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the TP4056M, DW01 (C686633) and FS8205A. By type, the board carries 9 relays, 8 resistors, 3 ICs, 3 jumpers, 3 capacitors and 2 diodes.

It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

Hardware design, BOM, gerbers and 3D files for Li-ion-charger-with-protection designed by Soldered Electronics.

Lithium batteries are charged differently than regular batteries and devices. You’ll need a li-ion charger like this one to charge them. Integrated with the CC/CV charging technology, it is the simplest way to charge a lithium-ion battery. Protection activated in cases of undervoltage, overvoltage and short circuit, which is enough protection for most batteries.
