About the Lisbon av install PCB
Lisbon av install is an open source ESP32 PCB design by squaretaper, published on GitHub. It is a board, with 20 components from 17 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ESP32 DevKit V1, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the SN74AHCT125N, SN74AHCT125N unused and SN74AHCT125N power. By type, the board carries 6 ICs, 4 resistors, 3 connectors, 3 capacitors, 2 LEDs and 1 fuse.
From the project
Source bundle for the Lisbon AV installation: ES-9/CoreAudio bridge, ESP32 lighting controller, camera bridge, schematics, and runbooks.
Public source bundle for a real-time Lisbon audio/visual installation: a macOS camera bridge watches the room, a Python/CoreAudio bridge turns camera and modular-audio features into Expert Sleepers ES-9 CV, and an ESP32 drives two red-only WS2811 LED channels from the analyzed soundscape.
This repo is organized as an implementation notebook plus runnable software. It keeps the active code, hardware-facing firmware, schematics, and runbooks together, but intentionally does not vendor local virtualenvs, runtime captures, YOLO model weights, or raw datasheet PDFs.

Lisbon av install: common questions
What microcontroller does the Lisbon av install use?
The Lisbon av install is built around the ESP32 DevKit V1, from the ESP32 family.
How many components are on the Lisbon av install?
20 components, from 17 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Lisbon av install design files?
From the squaretaper/lisbon-av-install repository on GitHub, which has the schematic, a netlist and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Lisbon av install design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with squaretaper. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Lisbon av install without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
