About the Devobordo PCB
Devobordo is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by Travis8795, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 21 × 51 mm, with 40 components from 19 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RP2040, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the MCP1700x-330xxTT and W25Q16JVZPIQ TR. By type, the board carries 17 capacitors, 9 resistors, 5 connectors, 4 diodes, 3 ICs and 1 crystal.
It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts and power & battery designs in this gallery.
From the project
A custom RP2040-based development board designed from scratch, featuring onboard regulator, external QSPI flash, and full GPIO breakout.
devobordo is a custom RP2040 development board designed from scratch in KiCad.
The goal of this project was try and work on the RP2040 architecture, power design, PCB layout, and manufacturability constraints (JLCPCB).
This board provides a minimal but fully functional RP2040 platform with clean power routing, proper decoupling, USB interface, full GPIO breakout for experimentation, and battery capability.

Devobordo: common questions
What microcontroller does the Devobordo use?
The Devobordo is built around the RP2040, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Devobordo PCB?
The Devobordo measures 21 × 51 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Devobordo?
40 components, from 19 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Devobordo design files?
From the Travis8795/devobordo repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Devobordo design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which Travis8795 chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Devobordo without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
