ESP WROOM-32 DevKit with 8 2A PWM Drivers (5-15V)
The PWM driver board is powered by an ESP32 and features 8 PWM outputs that can power LED lighting at 5-15V at up to 2A each. It can also be used as a general-purpose ESP32 development kit.
The primary purpose of the design is to control LED lighting (like these: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00QN4X5MM/ref=ppxyodtbsearchasintitle?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I am not affiliated with this seller, but the LED strips are great!), however there may be many other uses, like controlling DC motors! The board can be powered by either USB or by connecting 5-15V to the power input connector (connecting both is…

12V-SmartSwitch: common questions
What microcontroller does the 12V-SmartSwitch use?
The 12V-SmartSwitch is built around the ESP32-WROOM-32, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the 12V-SmartSwitch PCB?
The 12V-SmartSwitch measures 73 × 50 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the 12V-SmartSwitch?
74 components, from 23 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the 12V-SmartSwitch design files?
From the vintlabs/ESP32-PWM-Driver-Devkit repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the 12V-SmartSwitch design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with vintlabs. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the 12V-SmartSwitch without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
