About the ViratyBoard PCB
ViratyBoard is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by ViratS-best, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 37.2 × 52.3 mm, with 37 components from 20 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RP2040, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the MCP1700X-330XXTT and W25Q128JVS. By type, the board carries 17 capacitors, 8 resistors, 5 connectors, 3 ICs, 1 transistor and 1 crystal.
It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.
From the project
A RP2040 board! My second ever PCB!!!
Dual Power Input: Accepts both USB power and a battery connection. Plugging in USB automatically turns the MOSFET off to completely disconnect the AA batteries so they don't get accidentally charged or drained. RP2040 MCU: Built around the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller with decoupling capacitors, crystal oscillator, and flash storage. 4-Layer Stackup:** Designed with a 4-layer configuration for clean power and signal routing.

ViratyBoard: common questions
What microcontroller does the ViratyBoard use?
The ViratyBoard is built around the RP2040, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the ViratyBoard PCB?
The ViratyBoard measures 37.2 × 52.3 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the ViratyBoard?
37 components, from 20 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the ViratyBoard design files?
From the ViratS-best/ViratyBoard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the ViratyBoard design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with ViratS-best. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the ViratyBoard without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
