Its main chip is the ESP32-S2-SOLO, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the AMS1117-3.3, TAR5S50 and SN74AHCT125PWR. By type, the board carries 18 capacitors, 14 resistors, 8 diodes, 5 switches, 4 ICs and 4 connectors.
It belongs with the displays & leds and iot & wireless designs in this gallery.
From the project
ESP32-based WS2812B LED Strip Driver PCB, designed for music visualization
Origianlly planned to design my own firmware to integrate with the Spotify API Directly; but eventually switched to the much more featured combination of WLED + LEDFx. Compatible with the popular WLED firmware: just change the LED data pin to GPIO21. * (See DEVELOPMENT-NOTES.md for full pinout and other information).

Iot leddriver hw: common questions
What microcontroller does the Iot leddriver hw use?
The Iot leddriver hw is built around the ESP32-S2-SOLO, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Iot leddriver hw PCB?
The Iot leddriver hw measures 57 × 56 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Iot leddriver hw?
58 components, from 31 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Iot leddriver hw design files?
From the 0xjmux/iot_leddriver_hw repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Iot leddriver hw design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with 0xjmux. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Iot leddriver hw without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
