About the Alim10o PCB
Alim10o is an open source PCB design by acmo0, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 137.8 × 91.4 mm, with 86 components from 17 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the L7809 and LM317. By type, the board carries 35 capacitors, 17 diodes, 14 connectors, 10 ICs, 9 resistors and 1 fuse.
It belongs with the power & battery and audio designs in this gallery.
From the project
This is a description of pedalboard power supplies that I designed an made. I use this power supplies, they are fully working. Pay attention : they are made for 230VAC.
For exemple this is the tension at the output of the diode bridge if your transformer ouput is 18V :
You connect each transformer outputs (if your transformer have only one secondary coil) on the "From-transformer-secondary-output_X" labels. There are capacitors in parallel of each diodes to minimize noise from diodes. You have also a 2200µF capacitor to "smooth" the voltage from the diode bridge. Finaly, you have a 1.85A polyfuse to protect your power supply and pedals mainly against short-circuits. All regulators are connected on "diodes bridge output".
