About the Locker1 PCB

Locker1 is an open source PCB design by adsehgal, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 90 × 73 mm, with 38 components from 22 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the LM2576_DB, TS5A3357 and TL081. By type, the board carries 10 resistors, 8 connectors, 7 ICs, 6 capacitors, 4 diodes and 1 transistor.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

This repo collates my senior design project at UCSC.

SlugCharge was a student run project geared towards helping the homeless communit of Santa Cruz, CA. The project was led by four Electrical Engineering students at the University of California, Santa Cruz. The team aimed towards providing solar powered charging stations to the community so they can stay conencted with family and potential employers that may turn their life around!

Locker1: common questions

How big is the Locker1 PCB?

The Locker1 measures 90 × 73 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Locker1?

38 components, from 22 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Locker1 design files?

From the adsehgal/SlugCharge repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Locker1 design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with adsehgal. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
