About the Tuyyo-Hackclub PCB

Tuyyo-Hackclub is an open source ESP32 PCB design by andaniayan-jpg, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 99.9 × 99.9 mm, with 28 components from 17 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ESP32-S3, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the TP4056-42-ESOP8, CH340C, AMS1117-3.3 and MAX98357A. By type, the board carries 8 capacitors, 6 resistors, 5 ICs, 3 switches, 1 connector and 1 battery holder.

It belongs with the audio, power & battery and iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

From the project

TUYYO is a compact AI-powered smart speaker built from scratch with custom hardware, an ESP32-S3 controller, I2S microphone, audio amplifier, and external AI voice processing.

TUYO is a compact, AI-powered voice assistant speaker that was designed and built completely from scratch. It combines custom embedded hardware with modern AI to create a portable assistant that can listen, process speech, and respond in real time.

1. Download or clone this repository. 2. Open the KiCad project from the PCB/ folder. 3. Review the schematic and PCB layout. 4. Generate or use the included Gerber files for PCB manufacturing. 5. Order the components listed in BOM.csv. 6. Assemble the PCB by soldering the ESP32-S3, microphone, amplifier, USB-C, charger, regulator, resistors…

Tuyyo-Hackclub: common questions

What microcontroller does the Tuyyo-Hackclub use?

The Tuyyo-Hackclub is built around the ESP32-S3, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Tuyyo-Hackclub PCB?

The Tuyyo-Hackclub measures 99.9 × 99.9 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1 mm thick.

How many components are on the Tuyyo-Hackclub?

28 components, from 17 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Tuyyo-Hackclub design files?

From the andaniayan-jpg/Tuyyo-Hackclub repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Tuyyo-Hackclub design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with andaniayan-jpg. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Tuyyo-Hackclub without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
