About the ESP32S3 Receiver PCB

ESP32S3 Receiver is an open source ESP32 PCB design by ANSHUMANDOCX, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 39.1 × 42.9 mm, with 29 components from 12 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1U, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the MIC5219-3.3YM5 and NRF24L01_BREAKOUT. By type, the board carries 13 capacitors, 5 connectors, 4 ICs, 3 resistors, 2 switches and 2 diodes.

It belongs with the rf & radio, displays & leds and power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

The setup includes a 2.42-inch OLED display to show the status of each channel, bind status, and battery level.

The setup includes a 2.42-inch OLED display to show the status of each channel, bind status, and battery level.

The receiver and transmitter will be programmed using an FTDI module.

The transmitter is designed to run for 5–6 hours on a 1000mAh LiPo battery (ideally).

The code is subject to change depending on in hand testing currently its just a sample code for controlling 10 servo motor with the 10 inputs. # Transmitter

ESP32S3 Receiver: common questions

What microcontroller does the ESP32S3 Receiver use?

The ESP32S3 Receiver is built around the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1U, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the ESP32S3 Receiver PCB?

The ESP32S3 Receiver measures 39.1 × 42.9 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the ESP32S3 Receiver?

29 components, from 12 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the ESP32S3 Receiver design files?

From the ANSHUMANDOCX/Transmitter_Receiver-Using-ESP32S3 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the ESP32S3 Receiver design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with ANSHUMANDOCX. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the ESP32S3 Receiver without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
